In this brand-new course, the participants will learn the practice-skills and techniques necessary for group coaching in the context of a Government workplace.  Instruction will involve the knowledge and skills required to coach groups in this unique context, whether the group-member is an

employee, a certified coach, or a manager.

Learning Objectives
 

In this course, participants will:

  • Recognize the key definitions and concepts for group coaching in Government contexts.

  • Discuss the coaching competencies and skills needed for success as a Government leader and as a group coach.

  • Identify potential challenges and strategies for overcoming common pitfalls in group coaching. 

  • Practice the skills and abilities that promote excellence in team and group coaching in Government.

  • Critique the preparation, delivery, and evaluation phases for a group coaching engagement.

 

Why This Course?

In this program, the faculty share their methodologies, techniques, and experiences from their successes and challenges specific to coaching groups in the Government workplace. 

 

The course is designed to include the definitions, group coaching process along with several standard group coaching models.  This course provides coaching resources and tools, professional resources, and themes relevant to group coaching for leaders and coaches in the Government context.

 

It features mini-discussions and presentations, coaching exercises, case studies, and most of all, discussions with experienced, former and present, internal and external, leader-coaches to Government. All instructors are subject matter experts in group coaching in the Government context.

 

Prerequisites

It is recommended that participants have knowledge of one-on-one coaching competencies.

Refund Policy

Participants who cancel 30 days or more prior to the course start date will receive a full refund minus a $100 processing fee.  

Participants canceling 29 to seven (7) days prior to class start will receive a 50% refund minus a $100 processing charge.  

Participants canceling less than six (6) days prior to the class start will not receive a refund.
