An exciting course where participants practice skills and techniques in coaching federal leaders and high-performing individuals obtaining proficiency in the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and supporting competencies which are refined throughout their careers.

 

Participants will learn to coach to the themes of Leading Change, Leading People, Results Driven, Business Acumen, and Building Coalitions, the five core qualifications to become a senior executive in the Federal Government.

• Recognize how the ICF competencies are integral and foundational to ECQ coaching.   

• Practice coaching the ICF competencies and skills as they support the Government ECQs. 

• Develop an awareness of Government ethics to create a transparent and comfortable coaching environment in the context of the ECQs.

• Utilize methods to foster successful ECQ coaching in identifying tools, resources, and processes to fully support the client’s ECQ career goals.

This course involves the coaching faculty in sharing the tools, techniques, and stories from their successes and challenges specific to ECQ coaching with federal employees and teams. The course features mini-discussions and presentations, coaching exercises, case studies, individual and small group exercises, and most importantly discussion with experienced Federal Government coaches who are currently working as internal or external coaches.

Refund Policy

Participants who cancel 30 days or more prior to the course start date will receive a full refund minus a $100 processing fee.  

Participants canceling 29 to seven (7) days prior to class start will receive a 50% refund minus a $100 processing charge.  

Participants canceling less than six (6) days prior to the class start will not receive a refund.
