Learning Objectives

This course offers students the opportunity to become knowledgeable on the salient issues germane to the Government workforce. They will learn, experience, and coach to the competencies and to concerns and themes unique to the Federal Government. 

 

The learning objectives include, but not limited to:
 

• Identifying tools, resources, and coaching models to fully support the client’s individual and organizational goals

• Developing an awareness of Government ethics to create a transparent and comfortable coaching environment in the context of Government requirements and laws

• Being fully cognizant of the ICF competencies and how they are integral and foundational to Government coaching

• Developing an awareness of all of the niche coaching involved in Government coaching and the concomitant standardized assessments typically associated with these niches

• Utilizing methods and actions to foster successful coaching in Government

Professionals in all fields recognize the benefits of continuous learning. The best coaches know that the more coaching experience one has, the greater the need to expand one’s skills and toolboxes as coach practitioners.

 

This course involves the faculty sharing the tools, techniques, and stories from our successes and challenges specific to coaching government employees and teams. The workshop is designed to make coaching more meaningful to all Government clients. 

 

It features mini-discussions and presentations, coaching exercises, case studies, individual and small group exercises, and most of all, discussion with experienced government and private sector coaches who are currently working as internal or external coaches.

Refund Policy

Participants who cancel 30 days or more prior to the course start date will receive a full refund minus a $100 processing fee.  

Participants canceling 29 to seven (7) days prior to class start will receive a 50% refund minus a $100 processing charge.  

Participants canceling less than six (6) days prior to the class start will not receive a refund.
